Outstanding Citizen Award
It is time, once again, to nominate the person you feel should be selected as Kewanee’s Outstanding Citizen! Your nominee should possess the following criteria:
- Resident or former resident of Kewanee.
- Areas of service should be well known to the community.
- Personal community service in areas such as: Education, charitable, business, government, chamber of commerce, senior citizens, youth, disabled, environmental, economic development, community relations and heroic acts.
- How service may have been demonstrated?
- By solving a significant problem.
- Longevity of excellent service to the community.
- Helping others... youth, seniors, disabled etc.
- Improving understanding of community concerns.
- Exceptional efforts in community service.
